Job Description
This position is responsible for operating and maintaining a biomass boiler and 4 dry kilns. They are also responsible for performing general plant maintenance and inspections. Our mill operates 24/7 and requires working 12-hour shifts on a day/night continental rotation. Pay is issued weekly. Responsibilities

Daily inspections to visually verify that all equipment is functioning properly around the plant.

Small repairs requiring the use of small hand tools and preventative maintenance.

Perform ongoing system checks and ensure they are properly logged, including checking temperature, pressure, and water levels.

Monitor various pressures, temperatures, flow levels, sensors, and troubleshoot alarms associated with the equipment.

Ensure general housekeeping and maintain equipment standards.

Qualifications

Must hold a Class 3 Power Engineer license.

Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment is required.

Familiarity with safety protocols and operational best practices specific to industrial boiler and kiln.

Capacity to effectively collaborate with team members.
