As a Health Care Aide at AgeCare, you will work collaboratively under the supervision of a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive care to residents. You are crucial in maintaining individual comfort, assisting with daily activities, and following specific care plans. Candidates will engage in a variety of support tasks that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with bathing, showering, and personal hygiene
• Help residents transfer using mechanical aids and techniques
• Support residents with meals and snacks according to diet plans
• Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
• Accompany residents to various facility activities

Requirements:
• One year of experience in continuing care is preferred
• Completion of recognized Personal Care Aide Certificate
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Active registration with CLHA
• Post-secondary education is an asset
