Seeking a Civil Engineering professional with experience in the nuclear power generation industry to support advanced structural analysis activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and adapt to recent tasks, and experience with specialized engineering tools.

Base pay range
CA$80.00/hr - CA$100.00/hr

Responsibilities

Analysis and design of structures, including concrete, steel and composite structures

Prepare and review technical and building specifications, design criteria for civil structural engineering projects

Prepare and review engineering calculations, and design reports

Provide structural specifications for cranes, lifting devices and be familiar with their designs

Develop and review technical specifications for concrete material and testing requirements





Aging management and FMEA according to Canadian standards requirements

Working with the following codes preferred: AISC N690, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ASCE 7, IBC, and, Steel Construction Manual and Seismic Design Manual.

Qualifications

Nuclear experience is highly preferred

P. Eng. is mandatory

Computer programming skills (e.g. Matlab, or Python) is preferred

Autodesk Revit experience is an asset
