We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and long-term growth of a high-volume distribution center located in the Airdrie, Alberta area.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role in driving operational excellence, developing management teams, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for a results-oriented leader who thrives in a quick-paced environment and is passionate about building high-performing teams while supporting organizational growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and develop management teams to achieve and exceed operational, financial, and health & safety performance objectives.
- Oversee daily distribution center operations across multiple shifts while maintaining a strategic focus on long-term operational success.
- Drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives related to processes, technology, automation, and equipment.




- Contribute to strategic planning, including production capacity, workforce planning, automation initiatives, and capital investment projects.
- Participate in budget planning, financial analysis, and cost optimization efforts.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Transportation, Information Technology, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and Retail Operations to support business objectives.
- Develop leadership capabilities within the management team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
- Champion a proactive health & safety culture by ensuring best practices are implemented and sustained throughout the distribution center.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
