Process Technician - S-Nickel

Work Shift
Weekend Days (Friday-Sunday) 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
What You Will Do
- S-Nickel plating and masking of aircraft components, including preparation of components, to customer specifications and development of work techniques
- Tank/chemistry, associated tooling maintenance
- Adherence to the PM schedule of tanks
- Prep, mask and lacquer as required
- Act as a cross functional team member and support S-Nickel plate applications as requested
- Support and promote continuous improvement, 5S activities and Standard Work Development in the cell
- Communicate and co-ordinate priorities and process issues between operators and shifts
- Observe and adhere to all safety and PPE job requirements. Requires use of PAPR
- Multi-task and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant plating/processing experience or Process Engineering degree
- Experience in measuring equipment and tools
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and work with various hand tools
- Experience in using calipers and elcometers
- Selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP

- Strong understanding of WHMIS

61,334 CAD – 81,003 CAD
