Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is currently seeking an experienced Welder to join their production team in Barrie, Ontario.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity on the day shift, offering competitive pay and a stable work environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on welding experience, solid attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
Pay: $23.00/hour
Benefits: To be discussed upon hire

What You’ll Do
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and work instructions
Measure, prepare, and weld metal components to specification
Set up and operate welding and fabrication equipment safely
Assemble welded parts according to production and quality standards
Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and workmanship
Follow all health and safety procedures, including the use of PPE
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality expectations
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork

What We’re Looking For
CWB welding certification or a minimum of 3+ years of welding experience
Experience welding steel and aluminum




Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Solid attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
Experience with metal fabrication tools and equipment
Exposure to welding robots, CNC plasma, press brakes, or CNC shear equipment is an asset
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Working Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing facility and involves working on a production floor with exposure to noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
