Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced developer to join our team on a part time basis. This role is primarily focused on WordPress and WPML (approximately 80% of the work) , with the remaining 20% involving development across Next.js, Ruby on Rails, and Express/Node.js projects. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating multiple WordPress websites in maintenance mode, and potentially contributing to additional projects built on modern JavaScript and Ruby frameworks. This is a client-facing role, so excellent communication skills are essential.
US or Canadian citizenship and residency are a must.

Responsibilities:
Perform regular maintenance and updates on multiple WordPress websites
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions
Implement new features and functionality on existing websites and applications
Optimize website/application performance and ensure compatibility with different browsers and devices




Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices

Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress developer
Proven experience with WPML plugin
Solid understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with website optimization and troubleshooting
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
US or Canadian based with availability during regular business hours

Nice to have:
Working experience with Next.js, Ruby on Rails, and/or Express/Node.js
