NVA Canada's Veterinary Technician Practicum offers final-year students practical experience to refine veterinary skills. Engage in patient care and surgical assistance in a supportive learning workplace.

This unique program is designed for students enrolled in accredited VT programs looking to deepen their clinical expertise over two to eight weeks. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs while gaining exposure to various aspects of veterinary medicine, including radiology and large animal care.

The program also provides travel stipends to eligible students, allowing more focus on educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Enhance clinical skills in patient care and laboratory work
Assist with anesthesia and surgeries under supervision
