Regional Director Central, Child, Family & Community WellnessDepartment: Northwest Territories Health and Social Services AuthorityNorthwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority – Yellowknife Region (NTHSSA) is one of eight health and social services authorities established by the Department of Health and Social Services in the Government of the Northwest Territories.NTHSSA – Yellowknife Region delivers and administers Population Health, Primary Health Care and Social Services programs in the communities of Dettah, Fort Resolution, Lutselk'e, Ndilo and Yellowknife.Our mission is to work with people to optimize wellbeing through the provision of collaborative and culturally appropriate health and social services.Job InformationThe Regional Director, Central (RDC), based in Yellowknife, reports to the Executive Director of Child, Family and Community Wellness (CFCW) and provides strategic and operational leadership for child, family, and community wellness programs across the Central region. Working closely with regional and territorial leaders, Indigenous governments, and partners, the RDC ensures programs meet the needs of children, youth, families, and communities while driving continuous improvement, setting program objectives,



and evaluating service effectiveness.The RDC oversees the day-to-day delivery of legislated child and family services, prevention, mental health, family support, placement resources, and integrated service initiatives across Yellowknife, Lutselke, and Fort Resolution.
