The Department of Design in the Faculty of Fine Arts and Communications at MacEwan University has an ongoing need for sessional instructors to teach courses in Visual Communication Design and Digital Experience Design (User Experience Design) for the upcoming academic year.
Specifically, we are seeking candidates who have the ability to teach in one or more of the following courses:
- DESN 120 Design Software I
- DESN 231 Typography II
- DESN 240 Intro to Digital Experience Design
- DESN 246 Game Design
- DESN 310 Design Studio III
- DESN 340 Web Design and Development I
- DESN 344 Interaction Design I
- DESN 380 Design Research
- DESN 442 Information Architecture
Please visit the department’s website for a list of available courses: MacEwan University, Department of Design Qualifications You must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline or related fields, though a terminal degree in design is preferred; however, applicants with Bachelor of Design degree and commensurate field or industry experience and expertise will be considered. Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset.
