Job Summary

Join our energetic film and television production team as a Set Medic with Lifeguard Certification! In this vital role, you will ensure the health and safety of cast and crew by providing immediate medical assistance, maintaining a safe environment on set, and managing water-related safety protocols. Your expertise in emergency response, swimming, and physical endurance will help keep production running smoothly while prioritizing everyone's well-being.

Responsibilities

- Provide prompt and professional first aid and medical support to cast and crew during filming activities
- Monitor water scenes, pools, or aquatic environments to ensure safety protocols are strictly followed
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, including injuries or water-related incidents, with appropriate action and communication
- Conduct safety inspections of set areas, especially around water features or hazardous zones
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary to move equipment or assist injured personnel safely
- Maintain detailed incident reports and medical logs for all treatments administered
- Collaborate closely with production staff to implement safety procedures and emergency plans

Qualifications





- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority demonstrating water rescue skills and safety knowledge
- Proven swimming ability with comfort in aquatic environments
- Must have valid medical license RPN, RN, PCP, ACP, EMR.
- Experience in first aid, CPR, and emergency medical response in fast-paced settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as required on set
- Strong attention to detail, quick decision-making skills, and calmness under pressure
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or perform strenuous activities for extended periods during filming days
- Appropriate water safety Kit and Attire will be paid for a daily kit fee in addition to rates above.
- Film Set Experience is not required but an Asset.
