About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shawarma Cook / Mediterranean Line Cook to join our team. We are seeking someone who has hands-on experience preparing shawarma and Mediterranean cuisine and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen while maintaining excellent food quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook chicken, beef, and lamb shawarma.
- Assemble wraps, plates, salads, and other menu items according to recipes.
- Prepare sauces, toppings, and fresh ingredients.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Requirements
- Previous experience preparing shawarma or Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine is required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.




- Strong multitasking and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliable, punctual, and a positive team player.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating shawarma rotisseries and grills.
- Experience with prep work, inventory, and kitchen organization.
- Ability to communicate in English (additional languages are an asset).
