Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring that all products are properly received, stored, and dispatched. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support order fulfillment processes, and contribute to overall customer satisfaction.

Duties

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software.
- Load and unload goods safely using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately selecting items through order picking and order fulfillment procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within systems such as AS400 or similar platforms to ensure real-time stock visibility.
- Coordinate with warehouse distribution teams to organize storage locations efficiently and optimize space utilization.
- Ensure proper documentation for all shipments, including shipping labels, bills of lading,



and customs paperwork if applicable.
- Assist in cycle counts, inventory audits, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment to support productive operations.
- Collaborate with e-commerce teams for timely processing of online orders and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Experience

- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with hands-on knowledge of shipping & receiving processes.
- Proficiency operating forklifts, reach trucks, or similar equipment; forklift certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software for inventory control and order processing.
- Experience with order picking, order fulfillment, packaging, and load & unload activities in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
