Aufgaben SitCenter Regional Analyst Americas (18 month contract) Mercedes-Benz Canada is a world leader in automotive innovation. As a member of the Corporate Security’s Global Security Situation Center (SitCenter), you will provide continuous global security support by monitoring and assessing risks across the Americas region, delivering expert guidance to business stakeholders, travellers, and local security teams.

You will play a critical role in incident and crisis management, coordinating response efforts to protect employees and business operations worldwide. A day in the life Global Security Monitoring & Incident Management (65 %) - Provide SitCenter coverage as part of a 24/7 global support model.

- Monitor and assess global security developments, focusing on the Americas region, identifying potential risks and recommending mitigation measures.
- Respond to security incidents and support incident‑management activities according to established procedures and protocols.
- Prepare security briefings, threat assessments, reports, presentations and other intelligence products for senior leaders and business stakeholders.
- Track, document and analyse security incidents, cases and emerging trends.

Travel

Security, Emergency & Crisis Support (15 %) - Support travel and expatriate security programs, including travel risk assessments and related security processes.

- Provide security guidance to employees and business partners on travel security, event protection and emergency preparedness.
- Assist regional and global crisis‑management activities during significant incidents and emergency events. Project,



Process & Security Program Management (15 %) - Lead and support projects that enhance security operations, programs and team effectiveness.
- Manage and continuously improve assigned security processes, procedures, guidelines and work instructions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of corporate security programs.

Knowledge

Sharing & Stakeholder Engagement (5 %) - Promote knowledge sharing by communicating lessons learned, best practices and security insights across the region.

- Support the implementation and adoption of security standards and incident‑management processes.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external security partners.

Vacancy Status & Compensation Vacancy Status: This posting reflects an approved, current vacancy and will be filled on a fixed‑term contract basis for approximately 18 months.

Posting Range: $66,327 – $91,199 Qualifikationen - Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Political Science, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 3–5 years of experience in corporate security, intelligence, crisis management, risk management or a related discipline.
- Solid analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with the skill to assess risks and provide practical recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills,



with experience preparing reports, briefings and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, resilience and a collaborative approach working with stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Interest in global affairs, geopolitical developments and emerging security trends.
- Knowledge of travel security, intelligence analysis, incident management or crisis response is an asset.
- Experience with OSINT, data analytics, AI technologies, digitalization initiatives or intelligence tools is an asset.
- Fluency in English is required; German and/or Spanish are an asset.
- Over hours in special situations, if needed.
