Salary

$60,000 to 86,000 annually (To be negotiated), 40 to 50 hours per Week

- A DRIVER WITH ONE YEAR OF EXPERIENCE IS PAID $0.48 PER MILE
- DRIVERS CAN EXPECT APPROXIMATELY 2,500 MILE PER WEEK

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Professionalism in customer service
- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and driveClass 1 or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments
- Perform pre-trip,



en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Defensive Driving Course, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Forklift Operator Certification, Professional Driver Improvement Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
