Are you a Specialist Asset Management Advisor looking for a recent opportunity? We're recruiting a Specialist Asset Management Advisor in our Oakville office. This role requires strong technical and project management skills to manage over 100 environmental/remediation projects annually in Ontario and the Maritime provinces.Minimum Requirements:
- 10 years plus of experience dealing with Environmental Regulators and Contaminated Sites.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Hydro-Geology, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Geoscientist or Engineer and related experience in the Retail or Wholesale petroleum industry preferred.
- Experience with hydrocarbon contamination management and a working knowledge of applicable Ontario and Maritimes legislation and guidelines.
- Proven project management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of interactions with regulators in Ontario, and the Maritime provinces as required.
- Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor execution of work scopes from consultants and contractors for monitoring/sampling, environmental site assessments, remedial excavations, risk assessments, and in-situ remediation
- Review and approve remediation and assessment reports prepared by third party consultants
- Establish annual expense budgets at the project and territory level as well ongoing budget forecasting and planning
- Review supplier performance related to financials and EH&S;
Location and other Key Details:
- You will work out of our Oakville office, located at 3275 Rebecca Street
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
