Our Client Our client is a global marketer of branded apparel. They have 200+ offices worldwide and represent many major well-known name brands.
Location Toronto - Hybrid
Position Work closely with the group CEO, brand presidents and associates in synthesizing pertinent information to make short and long-term business decisions regarding resources, revenue growth, profitability and trends for strategic decision support.
Provide financial direction, guidance and strategy for the groups’ performance including business planning, capital planning, forecasting, pricing and operational reviews.
Work closely with key contact people to monitor processes to ensure that initiatives and strategies are implemented and met.
Oversee the development of strategic and tactical plans related to both brand and company-wide initiatives.
Remove obstacles in a highly matrixed organization through gaining support to achieve business goals.
Work with HR and brand management to align business objectives that affect employee compensation, sales bonus structures, and commission programs.
Works with legal team on third-party agreements for distributor models, product development and marketing statements of work,



tenant leases, licensed retailers and licensee arrangements.
Work with legal team regarding patent strategy and approvals and reviewing patent infringements.
Work with IT on opportunities regarding system reporting and process and operational improvement.
Leads cross functional project teams.
Directs special projects.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. MBA preferred.
15+ years experience in finance, strategic management, business development or related field.
Consulting experience preferred.
Highly effective communication skills, including oral presentation and written skills.
Demonstrates the ability to establish and sustain effective and collaborative relationships at different levels across the organization.
Demonstrates critical thinking skills and has a keen sense of how to get things done in a complex, matrixed organization.
Results and deadline oriented. Robust time management.
