Director of Finance | Aurora, ON (4 Days Onsite)

Reporting directly to the VP Finance , you'll be joining a collaborative leadership team where your expertise will be valued, your ideas will be welcomed, and you'll have the autonomy to make meaningful improvements across the finance function.

This isn't an organization looking for someone to simply maintain the status quo.

What You'll Be Doing
You’ll provide leadership across multiple operating companies while overseeing:

Financial reporting and month-end close

Inventory accounting and costing

AP, AR, payroll and cash management

Internal controls and compliance

Process improvements and ERP optimization

Team leadership and mentoring

Cross-functional business partnering with operational leaders

This is a hands-on leadership role that blends technical accounting expertise with operational finance and continuous improvement.

Who You Are
You likely bring:





Experience leading and developing finance teams

Strong controllership and financial reporting experience

Multi-entity accounting experience

Inventory accounting experience within distribution, building materials, manufacturing or a similar environment

A passion for improving processes, leveraging systems and creating efficiencies

A collaborative, practical leadership style

Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys building rather than simply maintaining.

4 days onsite / 1 day hybrid
