Ready to Make an impact? Sobeys is an exciting place to build your career, and we are always looking for talented individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Business Partner to support our Operations business unit.
This position may be based in our offices in Mississauga, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta; or Montréal, Québec. Please note that this is a contract of 10 months. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Support recruitment and staffing activities across the organization.
Develop and implement recruitment best practices on a national scale.
Manage and support the full recruitment lifecycle while partnering with hiring managers to improve hiring efficiency.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to deliver reliable, value-added recruitment services.
Take ownership of the candidate experience, ensuring every interaction reflects the company's values and employer brand.
Monitor and audit external job postings to ensure employer branding consistency.
Develop and maintain talent pipelines to meet business needs in a timely and professional manner.
Source candidates using a variety of recruitment channels and sourcing strategies.
Support ongoing recruitment initiatives and identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of recruitment services.
Recommend new recruitment methods and sourcing channels,
evaluating their return on investment (ROI) and business impact.
Contribute to the development of cost-effective recruitment and retention strategies.
Collaborate with recruitment teams and hiring managers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes.
What you have to offer: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in staffing and talent acquisition, including full-cycle recruitment and direct partnership with hiring managers.
Self-motivated, independent individual with strong problem-solving skills and an cutting-edge mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Strong candidate sourcing skills using platforms and tools such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Boolean Search techniques, and Google.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
experience with Indeed and SuccessFactors is considered an asset.
Bilingualism (French and English, both written and spoken) The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada.
