Location? We are looking for our new team member to be located anywhere in Calgary, AB as they will be working in a adaptable hybrid arrangment with access to offices across the city.
Accountabilities
- Master the basics of holistic investment planning, equip yourself with the industry leading expertise and support our clients' needs as they become more complex.
- Deeply understand our clients and commit to always having their best interests at heart.
- You will work towards earning the trust of our clients, to not just advise clients but to challenge them to make the best financial decisions possible.
- Strive to make our clients time richer, happiness deeper and aspirations closer as we ensure that they are supported throughout their journey.
- Help them to connect the dots between their wealth and aspirations and support them at every stage of their lives.
Skills, experience & requirements
- Proven ability to develop your book of business through leveraging community networks.
- Effective relationship building, communication and discovery skills.
- Ability to meet or exceed required sales goals.
- An established COI network.
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with the use of virtual communication tools.
- Highly organized and able to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- 10 years of sales and customer experience in the financial services industry (preferably Wealth Management) with proven ability to develop and grow a book of investment clients.
- Ability to be immediately registered as an RR (Registered Representative) through CIRO.
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Business or a related field (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered).
- Completed or working towards the QAFP and/or the CFP designation would be considered an asset.
