Are you a skilled Application Support Specialist ready to make an impact?
Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Intermediate Application Support (Java/Angular/Python). This position involves supporting critical enterprise applications related to mortgage processing and pricing, ensuring smooth operations through troubleshooting, code analysis, and API support. Pay rate range (CAD): $50.00/hr - $60.00/hr
Responsibilities Support two key enterprise applications: Mortgage & Pricing Application and Managed File Transfer (MFT) Application
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues promptly to minimize downtime
Analyze and review code in Java, Angular, and JavaScript to identify root causes of problems
Support and maintain REST API integrations between applications and external systems
Collaborate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate issue resolution and enhancements
Assist in incident analysis and elevate issues as needed to ensure system stability
Participate in deployment and release activities, ensuring quality and compliance
Document support activities, incident reports, and resolutions accurately
Stay updated on application and infrastructure changes impacting production environments
Desired Skill-Set Strong hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and Python programming languages
Proven ability to analyze, review, and troubleshoot code effectively




Solid understanding of REST APIs and API-based integration support
Experience with AWS Cloud services
Previous experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and vendors
Solid stakeholder management skills, including incident analysis and escalation procedures
Nice to Have Exposure to or experience with AI or Generative AI technologies
Background in banking or financial services industries
Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages
Knowledge of mortgage or financial application workflows
