We are currently looking to add a Millwright for a food company located in Mitchell, Ontario.

Location: Mitchell, ON

Shift: Days, Afternoons, Nights - 2 week rotation

Overtime is paid past 40 hours

Saturdays - 1.5x pay

Sundays- 2xpay

Benefits- offered after 3 months

Saturdays are paid at time and a half and Sundays are double time

Responsibilities

Experience with plant utilities including HVAC, boiler, chiller and ammonia compressors would be considered an asset, Refrigeration B certificate is a definite asset, at least must be able to become certified within a year

Strong preventative maintenance and troubleshooting ability

Valuable communication skills, including written and verbal

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Computer competence to work with a CMMS

Hands on experience on highly automated packaging equipment would be considered an asset

Experience with welding and pipe fitting would be considered an asset

Ability to obtain their Lift Truck license

Qualifications

433a with industrial experience

Prior experience working within a food environment would be an asset

Ability to work in a team-based environment
