Your Opportunity Reporting to the Senior Manager, Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility, the Specialist, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility (DEIA) supports the development, implementation, coordination, and ongoing administration of DEIA initiatives across the organization. The Specialist will provide project coordination, event logistics, data analysis and reporting, research, and administrative support to enable the successful delivery of the team's priorities.
The Specialist works independently on assigned projects, coordinates activities across internal business partners, cross-functional teams, and external partners, and manages multiple competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Project Coordination Coordinate the planning, implementation, and monitoring of DEIA initiatives, programs, and projects to support the organization’s DEIA strategy.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, trackers, and documentation to ensure deliverables are completed within established timelines.
Coordinate activities and deliverables with internal business partners, cross-functional teams, and external partners to support the successful execution of DEIA initiatives.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and follow up on outstanding activities to support the timely completion of deliverables.
Team and Administrative Support Provide administrative and operational support to the DEIA team.
Coordinate team meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting logistics, and supporting materials.
Prepare meeting minutes, document decisions, maintain action logs, and follow up with team members to monitor the completion of assigned action items.
Process expense reports, invoices, and purchase requests, and support budget tracking and reconciliation.
Maintain team documentation, shared resources, and records to support effective team operations.
Draft, update, and maintain content for the DEIA intranet site and other internal communications, as required.
Event Coordination Coordinate the planning and logistics for DEIA webcasts, learning sessions, awareness campaigns, employee engagement activities, and other DEIA-related events.
Liaise with internal business partners, cross-functional teams, and external partners to coordinate event logistics,



communications, technology requirements, registrations, materials, and post-event activities.
Develop event timelines and monitor deliverables to ensure activities are completed on schedule.
Reporting and Data Analysis Collect, validate, analyze, and report on DEIA metrics to measure progress, identify trends, and support decision-making.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data sets using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
Analyze data to identify trends, provide insights, and support continuous improvement of DEIA programs and initiatives.
Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for leaders, business partners, and internal teams.
Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
Research Conduct research on DEIA leading practices, legislation, emerging trends, and benchmarking opportunities.
Analyze research findings and provide recommendations to support the continuous improvement of DEIA initiatives.
Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with business units, corporate functions, and cross-functional teams to support the planning and implementation of DEIA initiatives.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal business partners to support the successful delivery of DEIA priorities.
Support the communication and promotion of DEIA initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2-3 years experience supporting diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, human resources, project coordination, or a related function.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Microsoft Excel skills with experience creating reports, analyzing data, and developing dashboards or data sets.
Demonstrated experience collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data to support business decisions.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written, verbal,



and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with business partners and cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging principles and leading practices.
Experience coordinating events, managing budgets or expenses, and supporting project administration is considered an asset.
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
