This role directs and coordinators site operations and provides leadership to members of the health care team to create and support the culture of the organization. This position supports and ensures the development and execution of an operational plan, excellence in service and care delivery, improvement in health outcomes, and achievement of standards of care established by Nova Scotia Health and Department of Health and Wellness. The Director acts as the face of Nova Scotia Health in the local community with the general public and community partners, and supports efforts to improve the quality, safety and efficiency of service delivery.The Director of Health Services/Site Lead provides leadership in the development and coordination of integrated health program in the Western Zone for Critical Care and Respiratory, reflecting the vission, mission, goals and straetgic directions of Nova Scotia Health. This role ensures continuous improvement to advance a vision of excellence within the provision of care and is responsible for the development, maintenance and monitoring of quality management and safety programs, and compliance with relevant standards and accreditation requirements.
