Job Description This highly coveted FHT/FHO position is currently and is located in a beautiful facility that houses numerous physicians, integrated health professionals, and an on site lab service all located in a peaceful country setting.

If you wish to supplement your income there are many other opportunities to explore in Peterborough City located 20 minutes away including palliative, LTC, ER, Hospitalist, MAID, Addictions Medicine and OR Assist. Also, if teaching is a passion of yours, this site is a Queens Medical Residency teaching site and there is opportunity to become a preceptor.

There are many incentives attached to this position, details will be shared on an individual basis.

Requirements Qualifications:

Education :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized medical school.

Completion of residency in Family Medicine.

Licensure :

Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ontario (registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario).

Certification :





Certification in Family Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) is preferred.

Experience:

Relevant clinical experience in primary care settings.

Experience working with diverse populations and communities is an asset.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Personal Attributes:

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex medical cases.

Additional Requirements:

Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Bilingualism (English/French) may be an asset, depending on the community served.

Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.

Conduct physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.

Manage chronic diseases and promote preventive care.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
