Our public sector client is seeking a Software Developer - Generative AI to design and build applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

Join an innovation-focused team exploring and implementing generative and agentic AI solutions to address complex business challenges. This hands-on role focuses on rapid prototyping, AI integration, and advancing practical generative AI capabilities across enterprise workflows and digital products. The position includes work with LLMs, multi-agent AI systems, AI-native SDLC practices, and production-grade AI applications within a cross-functional environment.

Must Haves

5-7 years of software development including recent work with LLMs and AI integration

Python , OpenAI SDKs , LangChain , and Hugging Face

C# , .NET Core , and object-oriented design

RAG , GraphRAG , embeddings , Cosmos DB , pgvector , and Qdrant

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field

Nice to Have

AutoGen and Semantic Kernel

APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile software development practices

AI-enabled Software Development Lifecycle practices including developer copilots, automated test generation, AI-assisted code review, and intelligent documentation workflows

Responsibilities

Design and build applications using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and open-source LLMs

Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines

Integrate LLMs into enterprise workflows and digital products

Explore and implement foundational patterns for multi-agent AI systems using AutoGen, LangChain, and Semantic Kernel

Leverage Azure AI services and vector databases including Qdrant, pgvector, and Cosmos DB

Establish and evolve AI-native Software Development Lifecycle practices and workflows

Maintain technical documentation of models, prompts, workflows, architectures, and decision-making
