Join CN as a Lead Hand Electrician, responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems. Undertake repairs and oversee maintenance of equipment and buildings across various environments.
In this role, you'll perform preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance while coordinating with the lead electrician and other departments. This hands-on position requires responding to emergency calls and working in diverse conditions, ensuring a secure environment for yourself and others while enhancing system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair electrical installations and equipment
• Coordinate with multiple teams and contractors for project support
• Respond to emergency calls during off-hours
• Work in various environments, including confined spaces
• Ensure safety measures for all work undertaken
Requirements:
• Interprovincial journeyman electrician certificate required
• Read and understand electrical drawings
• Valid Class 5 driver's license, willing to get Class 1
• Solid knowledge of power distribution systems
• Practical experience in working at heights
