Qualifications

Current CMLTO registration, or eligibility to obtain CMLTO registration, is required in the following fields of practice:

Clinical Chemistry

Hematology

Transfusion Medicine

Clinical Microbiology

Recent relevant laboratory experience is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply

Skills / Abilities

Effective time management and strong organizational skills required

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all members of the health team required

Ability to work in a fast-paced high stress environment

Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with a variety of client groups to ensure patient focused care delivery

Ability to be innovative combined with a willingness to learn new tasks required

Demonstrated commitment to professional development

Demonstrated commitment to continuous quality improvement

Positive attendance and work record required

Must demonstrate a commitment to ensure your safety, the of fellow workers, patients,



volunteers and visitors

Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization

Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is an asset
