Outside Sales Representative REAL-R is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for a field-based role in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling & leasing large construction equipment and related solutions to both large construction companies and small to mid-size construction firms. This role includes prospecting, territory management, on-site customer visits, quoting, and building long-term client relationships. Experience in outside sales and large construction equipment sales is preferred. A strong track record of consultative selling, pipeline management, and closing business is essential. Job Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business, managing an existing territory, and building long-term relationships with construction clients. This role requires a confident, consultative salesperson who can identify customer needs, recommend equipment solutions, and close opportunities in a competitive market.
Responsibilities Prospect, develop, and maintain business within the Lower Mainland territory.

Build strong relationships with decision-makers at large construction companies and small to mid-size construction firms.

Sell large construction equipment and related solutions through a consultative sales approach.

Conduct on-site visits to customer locations, job sites, and project offices.

Prepare quotes, proposals, and follow-up correspondence in a timely manner.





Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate activity records in CRM systems.

Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and ensure smooth order fulfilment.

Stay informed on market activity, competitor offerings, and customer project pipelines.

Represent the organization professionally at meetings, industry functions, and site visits.

Qualifications Outside sales experience is required.

Experience selling large construction equipment is preferred.

Proven ability to sell to both large construction companies and small to mid-size construction firms.

Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.

Ability to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritize competing demands.

Strong communication and follow-up skills.

Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the Lower Mainland.
