As a full-time technician, you will manage the technical operations of the morgue, ensuring proper admission, examinations, and autopsies of decedents. Your work will contribute to the overall mission of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner by assisting in identifying causes of death while adhering to safety regulations and maintaining professionalism in a sensitive workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Admit and release bodies from the morgue efficiently
• Assist medical examiners during external examinations
• Perform autopsies and evisceration for investigations
• Collect and transfer specimens to laboratories
• Maintain a clean and organized morgue environment
Requirements:
• Two-year technical diploma in medical/biology field
• Minimum of two years' health/medical experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of toxicological specimen extraction
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
