Experience in critical appraisal and teaching are essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in patient counseling and medication monitoring
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and research participation
• Mentor pharmacy students within a hospital setting
• Collaborate with community pharmacists for patient care
• Provide drug information and education to staff and patients
Requirements:
• Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy
• Eligible for Nova Scotia Pharmacy registration
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience
• Completion of a hospital pharmacy residency preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
