Elevate your teaching career with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board in Northwestern Ontario as a Full time Special Assignment Teacher in Technological Studies. Engage with diverse students through in-person and virtual learning opportunities.

This itinerant role focuses on Transportation, Construction, and Design Technology, welcoming both qualified Trades Teachers and experienced tradespeople. Successful applicants will support educational equity across multiple schools, committing to a three-year term subject to annual review. Your responsibilities will include promoting trades and technology programs while incorporating technology into both classroom and virtual learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide in-person and virtual learning opportunities
• Promote trades and technology programs to students




• Collaborate with teachers and community partners
• Prepare students for Skills Competitions and support participation
• Organize board-wide Skills competitions

Requirements:
• Ontario College of Teachers certification or relevant qualifications
• Minimum two years work experience in technology-related fields
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and willingness to travel
• Understanding of educational curriculum and initiatives
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check at own expense
