In this hands-on role, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, program, calibrate and maintain industrial electrical systems and equipment. You will help maximize uptime across the facility by completing corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment, controls, motors, drives, wiring systems, lighting, stand-by power systems, instrumentation and related equipment.
What You’ll Do Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to maximize equipment uptime
Support emergency call-ins for facility and equipment repairs when required
Maintain plant electrical cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects and lighting
Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work as assigned
Monitor and maintain electrical supplies
Support engineering and continuous improvement initiatives related to electrical standards
Coordinate with contractors and internal teams as needed
Keep work areas clean, organized and safe
Manage and estimate project work and scope requirements
Communicate professionally with team members, contractors and stakeholders
Guide, coach and support service team members when required
Prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
Perform all duties safely, efficiently and productively
What You Bring 3–5 years of electrician experience in a manufacturing environment
Solid electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
PLC programming experience

What You Bring
Valid 442A Industrial Electrician licence
3–5 years of electrician experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
PLC programming experience

Shift requirement: Coverage is required during the core hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday to Thursday. Flexible start and end times are available, such as 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. four days per week or 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. five days per week. Overtime is also available.
