Salesforce Operations Specialist - FSC (Remote, Canada) Remote - Canada | Remote - Canada | Contract
Our client is a wealth management firm that supports a network of advisors through Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC). As their advisory business grows, they're looking for a Salesforce Operations Specialist to keep that platform running smoothly and continuously improving.
As the Salesforce Operations Specialist, you'll own the administration, support, and ongoing enhancement of the client's FSC environment, serving advisor, business development, and marketing teams. You'll work closely with business users, so you'll need to be comfortable translating between technical configuration and real-world advisor workflows. This is a role for someone who's strong technically but genuinely enjoys the support-and-improvement side of platform ownership.
This is a 6‑month contract to start, with potential for extension. The role is fully remote within Canada , with optional access to a downtown Vancouver office roughly once a week.

Responsibilities: Own the day-to‑day administration and configuration of the Salesforce FSC environment, including user setup, access, and permissions.
Provide production support, resolving platform issues and keeping the environment stable and reliable.
Build and improve automation — workflows, tasks, events, and related processes — to increase efficiency across the platform.
Business User Support: Act as the first point of contact for business users, triaging and troubleshooting issues as they come up.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve problems and follow issues through to resolution.
Reporting, Data Quality & Integrations: Build and maintain reports and dashboards that give the business clear visibility into its data.
Manage data quality, including imports and ongoing data hygiene.
Support and maintain integrations between Salesforce and the broader toolset, including Zocks (AI-powered meeting transcription), a Fabric data warehouse, and PureFacts.
Documentation, Training & Enablement: Produce documentation, release notes, and user-facing materials.
Train and enable users to get the most out of Salesforce, including onboarding new advisors and supporting CRM conversions into the platform.
Process Improvement & Release Management: Identify and deliver improvements to business processes and platform functionality.
Support UAT, release validation, and the rollout of platform enhancements.
Mandatory Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator or in a comparable Salesforce operations role, ideally within a financial services or regulated setting.
Baseline hands‑on exposure to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) — you don't need to be an expert, and training is available, but you shouldn't be starting from zero.
Strong Salesforce administration skills across configuration, user access and permissions, and production support.
Hands‑on experience building automation in Salesforce (workflows, tasks, events, and similar).
Practical experience with reporting and dashboards, data imports, and data quality management.
Experience supporting business users directly — triaging issues, troubleshooting, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
Comfortable producing documentation and training, and working with non‑technical users to improve how they use the platform.
Experience contributing to process improvement, UAT, and release validation.
Nice-to-Have: Salesforce certifications (e.g. "Salesforce Administrator" or "Advanced Administrator").
Experience integrating Salesforce with third‑party tools (e.g. AI transcription, data warehouses, or financial planning systems).
Experience in the wealth management industry specifically.
Of Note: Completed background checks will be required before the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate.
While we strive to respond to all applicants, please understand that due to the high volume of applications we receive, providing individual feedback or responses to every candidate may not be feasible.
