Lead Operations Role – Drive Safety, Quality & Production Excellence

Position: Area Manager / Shift Manager

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for this dynamic and motivated manager to lead a team comprising of salary and hourly employees.

Compensation: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
Schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off, 3 days on / 3 days off – 12 hour shifts
Contract: 6 month contract with potential to extend

Responsibilities

- Lead health, safety, and environmental compliance for the team, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and promoting a strong safety culture (risk assessments, incident investigations, LOTO, PPE).
- Drive quality performance by managing KPIs, enforcing standardized work, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with IATF and customer requirements.
- Oversee daily production operations to meet throughput targets, including resource planning, shift coordination, issue resolution, and continuous performance improvement.
- Manage departmental budgets, headcount, and overtime while leading cost reduction and waste minimization initiatives.




- Champion continuous improvement projects across safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Build and develop high‑performing teams through coaching, training, performance management, and fostering a culture aligned with company values.
- Ensure effective communication, reporting, and escalation of operational issues while supporting cross‑functional problem‑solving.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5 or more years of experience in production supervision in a high‑volume manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Ability to handle and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant internally from team members to Senior Leadership as required.
- Advanced problem‑solving credentials (e.g., Green/Black belt in Lean Six Sigma).
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members.
