In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions for patients facing acute mental health challenges. Be a crucial member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with various specialists to ensure comprehensive patient support and effective discharge planning. Your work will contribute to shaping innovative care practices within a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and develop personalized care plans for patients
• Provide crisis support and promote recovery-oriented care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for effective treatment
• Engage in quality improvement, education, and research initiatives
• Participate in shaping acute mental health services delivery
Requirements:
• Registration as a Registered Nurse in British Columbia
• One year experience in acute psychiatry or similar setting
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to support both patients and their families
• Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team
