The NSWOC RN at ParaMed will enhance nursing quality and compliance with healthcare standards. This position involves overseeing patient care, assessing needs, and developing care plans aligned with physician orders. As a leader, you will manage nursing staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support care directives in the absence of the Director of Care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care following established nursing standards
• Assist in assessing residents' health status
• Develop and evaluate care plans for patients
• Supervise nursing and personal care staff
• Conduct performance appraisals and mentor team members
Requirements:
• Valid nursing certification from an approved institution
• Registered or eligible for registration in the province
• Experience in community or long-term care
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Reliable vehicle for community home care
