Responsibilities:

Defines the product vision, strategy and roadmap

Gathers, manages, and prioritizes market and customer requirements

Acts as the customer advocate articulating their needs

Works closely with development, sales, marketing, and support to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met

Has technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise

Defines what to solve in the market needs document, where you articulate the valuable market problem you’re solving along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution

Regularly reviews completed work and checks with customers to ensure that it meets the customer expectations

Is a market expert. Market expertise includes understanding the reasons customers purchase products. This includes an understanding of the competition, and how customers think of and buy your product

Acts as the product’s leader within the company

Develops the business case for new products, improvements to existing products, and business ventures

Develops positioning for the product

Recommends or contributes information in setting product pricing. This point isn’t true in all industries, especially, for example, insurance; however, an awareness of competitive pricing is part of what companies expect you to provide as part of the pricing decision





Qualifications and Education Requirements

3-5 years' experience in Product Management, with demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products

Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical background, solid data and analytical skills

Effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and Adobe Products.

Power BI experience would be an asset

Excellent teamwork skills

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines

Ability to problem solve, collect data, establish facts and offer valid solutions

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented

Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable

Superb writing, content development and editing skills

A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills

Additional Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license
