As part of the Residential team at Northview, you will report to the Regional Manager and work under a senior biomass technician. Your responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of biomass boiler systems and fuel-handling infrastructure. You will apply your Red Seal Millwright certification or apprenticeship principles to ensure optimal operation and performance in energy systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in installing and servicing biomass pellet boiler systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair rotating equipment and conveying systems
• Conduct mechanical assembly and precise alignment tasks
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety regulations
Requirements:
• Red Seal Millwright certification or active apprenticeship
• Experience with mechanical maintenance and industrial environments
• Interest in renewable energy systems
• Valid driver's license; class 3 license preferred
• Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
