This permanent Technician I position allows you to utilize your skills in automotive repair under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of our municipal fleet, while overseeing a Helper. Candidates must possess a valid 310T certification and a DZ driver's license for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and construction equipment
• Supervise and coordinate work with the Helper
• Adhere to CGS Safety Manual and applicable legislation




• Operate municipal and construction equipment as needed
• Complete standard legible service reports and maintain records

Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Truck and Coach Technician Certificate 310T
• Class “DZ” driver’s license
• Experience in automotive vehicle repairs
• Master Mechanics tool kit valued over $5,000
• Capable of using fleet software programs
