Job Title: Production Line Worker (Food Production)
Hours: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm or 5:00 pm - 3:00 am, Monday - Thursday
Rate of Pay: $16.50 - $17.00/Hour
Location: Saint John, NB

You will be responsible for various tasks along the production line, from assembling and packaging to quality control and adhering to all safety protocols. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to following safety and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Operate machinery and equipment along the production line to process food items efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor production processes to ensure smooth operations, making adjustments as necessary to meet production targets.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a protected working setting for yourself and your colleagues.
- Properly handle food items in accordance with hygiene standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)



as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Communicate openly with team members and supervisors regarding any issues that arise on the production line.

Requirements:

- CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in a food production environment is an asset, though not required. We welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Strong observational skills to identify quality issues and ensure product standards are met.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. The role may involve lifting moderate weights.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and masks when necessary.
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards as required in food handling environments.
