Title: Tank Truck Labour Operator - Class 1

Pay Rate: $30/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 6:00 AM start
Location: St-Thérèse, Qc

We are currently seeking a Tank Truck Labour Operator - Class 1 Driver with a minimum of 1 year of delivery experience. The workweek is Monday to Friday. As a truck driver, you will play a key role in our team by ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our clients across the region. The Class 1 Driver will be responsible for transporting plastic pellets.

Please note: This role is approximately 20% driving and 80% labour, as the driver will also be required to operate and manage the tank system on the truck.

Responsibilities:

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in proper working condition.
- Meet delivery deadlines and provide high-quality customer service.
- Maintain general knowledge of Greater Montreal routes.
- Complete pickups and deliveries of products.
- Follow loading and unloading procedures while monitoring and securing the freight.




- Maintain accurate border documentation and delivery logs, ensuring explicit communication with head office.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service.
- Drive safely and responsibly in compliance with traffic laws and road safety standards.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous truck driving experience, preferably in general freight (minimum 1 year considered an asset).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions on the road.
- Defensive and fuel-efficient driving skills are an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
