Radiology - MRI Tech

Shift: Day - 8x5- 09AM

Job Summary:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform MRI scans as per physician/radiologist orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure patient safety, including screening for contraindications (e.g., implants, metal)
- Operate MRI equipment and adjust imaging parameters for optimal results
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Ensure proper maintenance and quality control of MRI equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff

Requirements:

- Certification as an MRI Technologist (e.g., CAMRT / ARRT / equivalent)
- Minimum 1-2 years of MRI experience (preferred)
