Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg

$12,000 Sign-on bonus

Up to $2500 Relocation bonus

Indiana, USA

New Grad Residency Program available for RNs who have graduated from their BScN program within the last 12 months

Other units available for experienced RNs

Full time, Permanent position

Various shifts available

Various medical and surgical units available

WILL CONSIDER NEW GRADS-All Med Surg units and specialty units (ER, ICU, L&D; etc) if candidate has had 4th year clinical rotation or other work experience in that unit.

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities

Plans and provides high quality nursing care to patients

Administer medications, provide and render treatment to patients

Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals

Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient

Consider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatment

Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed

Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families

Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or will complete within 3 years of employment

NCLEX

Current VisaScreen for non-US applicants

Valid nursing Indiana RN licence or eligible for

BLS

Advanced knowledge of EMRs

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed

Excellent bedside manner and communication skills

Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages





Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
