Become a valued Mental Health Worker at Cool Aid's Sandy Merriman House, focused on supporting vulnerable clients in our community. Your role will involve housing services, case planning, and providing essential emotional support.
In this full time, temporary position, you will engage directly with clients facing homelessness and other challenges. Your experience in social services will support individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate obstacles. Working collaboratively with a dedicated team, you will deliver client-centered support, administer first aid, and connect clients to vital external resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide case planning and housing services
• Assist with daily physical and emotional supports
• Administer first aid and Naloxone during emergencies
• Advocate for clients and connect to community resources
• Process referrals and complete client registrations
Requirements:
• Diploma in Social or Human Services field
• Minimum two years in related work environment
• Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C certification
• Criminal Record Check completion
• Knowledge of community support agencies preferred
