Role Description The Part Time Laser Technician will perform laser and light-based treatments in an in office clinical setting in Calgary, AB. Responsibilities include conducting client consultations, reviewing medical histories, and explaining treatment options and post-care instructions. The role involves operating laser equipment according to clinic protocols, ensuring proper calibration, safety checks, and accurate documentation of all treatments. The technician will maintain treatment rooms, follow infection control procedures, and support the front desk team with scheduling and client follow-up as needed.



This is a part time, on-site role that may require afternoon, evening, and weekend availability based on client demand.
Qualifications
Experience with laser or light-based aesthetic treatments and familiarity with medical aesthetics procedures.
Knowledge of skin anatomy, common skin conditions, and safe treatment parameters.
Strong client care skills, including clear communication, professional bedside manner, and the ability to provide detailed pre- and post-treatment guidance.
Attention to detail in treatment documentation, equipment operation, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment and to follow established protocols and guidelines.
Relevant certification or training in laser technology or medical aesthetics; registration with an appropriate professional body is an asset.
Previous experience in a dermatology, medical spa, or aesthetic clinic setting is an advantage.
Comfort working part time with flexible scheduling, including evenings or weekends if required.
