A Day in the Life
Role Summary:
Medtronic's Integrated Health Solutions (IHS) team exists to help healthcare organizations transform how care is delivered. Under our CarePath IQ™ brand, we partner with hospitals and health systems to map, evaluate, and redesign patient care pathways to improve PACE (patient & provide experience, access, capacity, and efficiency).

Our consultants leverage a broad range of capabilities, from foundational performance improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, to the deployment of digital health platforms, remote patient monitoring and virtual care models, Hospital at Home program design, and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled solutions that support clinical decision‑making, workflow optimization, and capacity creation.

By combining healthcare consulting, clinical expertise, and innovative technologies, CarePath IQ™ helps clients address some of their most pressing operational and strategic challenges while advancing the future of care delivery.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Provide Healthcare Service/Solution Consultancy, oversees consulting projects that involve strategy development, organizational restructuring and management of the business to maximize efficiencies.

Works with senior management of companies to determine long‑term goals by analyzing the client's business and making recommendations for changes and improvements.

Salary Range: $136,000 - $170,000

SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:

The majority of time is spent delivering and overseeing the projects – from design to implementation - while and adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills normally acquired through advanced education.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
Requires mastery level knowledge of specialty area and working knowledge of several other areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

May have deep knowledge of project management.

Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
