Become an essential part of West Vancouver's Roads team as a Labourer. This temporary full time role involves manual tasks in road maintenance, from asphalt repairs to snow plowing. The District of West Vancouver is seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to work closer to home in this engaging role.

As a Labourer, you will perform street road maintenance, assist in pavement repairs, and support winter operations. A teamwork mentality and willingness to work outdoors in all conditions are key components of this position. Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct street road maintenance including ditching and sidewalk repairs
- Assist with installation of hot mix asphalt for utility patches
- Support traffic control with valid TCP certification
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain equipment and trucks in good condition Requirements:
- Experience or training in road construction preferred
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License is mandatory
- TCP certification considered an asset
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred Support the essential services of West Vancouver while gaining hands-on experience in road maintenance and public service.
