Responsibilities - Deliver frontline technical, operational, and safety training programs.
- Lead new employee orientation in coordination with site leadership.
- Coordinate all aspects of training including scheduling, attendance, and logistics.
- Maintain training systems, records, and databases with a high level of accuracy.
- Develop and update training materials (classroom, online, and OJT).
- Support LMS implementation and ongoing system improvements.
- Act as a key resource to plant leadership, supporting training priorities and workforce development.
- Influence training outcomes through strong engagement and collaboration with site teams.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness and workforce competency.
- Identify and recommend improvements to training programs, systems, and delivery approaches.
- Partner with the broader Canadian Training team to drive consistency and best practices.
Qualifications - Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience in training coordination, learning & development, or a similar role.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Experience with training systems and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Strong organization and coordination capability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and training systems (Workday LMS preferred).
- Knowledge of industrial safety training programs (e.g., confined space, mobile equipment).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
