Program
Overview NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic workplace. Work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop your clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology and more.
Responsibilities - Patient care - Laboratory procedures - Assisting with anesthesia - Assisting with surgical procedures - Radiology tasks - Communication with medical teams and clients Qualifications - Enrolled in an accredited veterinary technician program in Canada.
- Completing your final practicum in your final year.
- Interest in general practice and specialized surgeries.
